STRIVE Wentworth Training Program
In efforts to utilize Wentworth resources, BPS STRIVE Wentworth Training Program enlisted help from four Business Management students from the Capstone Program. The team consists of Brandon Black, Garrett Dintaman, Paige Taylor, and Alexandria Wright. These seniors created a multipronged marketing campaign that focuses on generating exposure. These focuses included publicity, enhanced web presence, and expanding their community exposure.
I was the Community Outreach Coordinator and planned a virtual 5k fundraiser on July 18th, 2020 called #StridesForSTRIVE. This fundraiser raised money for STRIVE Wentworth Training Program's Student Support Fund. This fund helps support the purchase of cold weather clothes, work boots, and more for these students. Over 40 people from California, Vermont, New Jersey, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts participated in the walk as well as donating over $3,000.

Continuing my work as the Community Outreach Coordinator, I worked with Mayor Marty Walsh's Team to generate media around the program. The Mayor was kind enough to take a video depicting his experience with the STRIVE students.

YMCA Food Program
A partnership was formed between the YMCA and the students of Wentworth Institute of Technology through the Group Processes & Team Building course. As a result of this partnership, service-learning projects were created to assist the nutrition programs of the YMCA of Greater Boston and their partnering organizations. My team worked on a cookbook as well as facilitated a team meeting on optimizing nutrition. The following documents outline my team's work.

Six Sigma Project: Full-Time Employment Spending vs. Part-Time Employment Spending
During this class, we were asked to complete a semester-long project utilizing Six Sigma methods to answer and improve our desired topics. In this project, I demonstrated the difference between working full-time vs. part-time and the impact it had on my weekly budget. Understanding your spending is incredibly important for all ages, especially when you are starting out after college.

Managing and Leading Organizations
Vygorade
As a team, we came up with a product and created its business plan. This included a marketing, sales, technology advancements, and FDA regulations outline with specific examples. My team chose to create an energy drink called Vygorade. As a part of our marketing plan, we created a commercial.

This project is based on selling Saint Patrick’s Day Goody Bags. The goal of the project is to sell these goody bags for students and faculty at Wentworth to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day. People at Wentworth will have a chance to have the goody bags ready for them with all the fun supplies to enjoy the parade that students will attend. Therefore, students will go to the parade prepared.
The goody bag includes two green bean necklaces, and two or three flash tattoos related to Saint Patrick’s Day, and two to three gold chocolate coins.

Intro to Marketing
Accelerate Marketing Strategy
While Accelerate (Wentworth's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center) is successful in mentoring students through their program, few students attend due to the misconception of what Accelerate entails. The proposed plan (below) is to increase attendance by focusing on the freshman class through an event hosted in their residence halls.
